We are a home-based hobby farmette with an apiary based 7 miles south of Berkeley Springs, WV. We're looking forward to setting ourselves up with a simple home based farmette for enjoying retirement starting with honeybees, chickens, vegetables, herbs and spices, and fruit trees. We really enjoy using permaculture and organic practices in every aspect of our lives. We started from scratch and every year we want to expand our permaculture and organic practices with the goal of creating a full circle self-sustaining environment right on our property! Hopefully in the future we'll be expanding from just an apiary and honey to candles, soaps, mead and wine, and plant sales! Then maybe growing enough to get out to the farmers markets and make a small stand by the house!
